Vacationing on ST. Croix USVI

There are now an estimated 56,000 people on St. Croix.

St. Croix has a long and complex history.

Initially, it was inhabited by the Carib and later on was colonized by at least seven European nations, including France, England, Spain, the Netherlands, and Denmark, before becoming a U.S. Territory in 1917. Its economy shifted from sugarcane plantations to industry and ultimately to tourism, and the island's culture reflects the diverse influences of its varied past, which includes slavery, indentured servitude, and the Fireburn revolt of 1878.

This is the primary industry, accounting for about 60% of the US Virgin Islands' GDP and providing a large portion of employment. The island is a popular cruise port and destination for visitors arriving by air.

Here at Zion Hill Oasis, we look forward to welcoming you and share a piece of this paradise with you.
